This morning I was greeted by these sweet illustrations in my email. Artist Alice Dufay captures little moments with great simplicity. They can be found on L'affiche Moderne which is a great site for limited edition prints.

This is a little last minute, but I wanted to let you know about a great art show in Sugarland. 25 local artists will be showing their work, which ranges from sculpture to photography. I actually saw a sneak peek yesterday and found some pretty cool stuff. The event will be sponsored by a group called Amplify|Sugarland. Their goal is to "Strengthen a local culture of inspiration", by providing more opportunities for artists to show their work. So I hope many of you will support them:) The show will be tomorrow evening (Oct. 15) from 6-10pm.You've heard of girls having a "girl crush" and guys having a "guy crush", well bloggers often have blog crushes. My new infatuation is with Maize written by Virginie Sannier. It consists of an amazing collection of textures, colors and the capturing of small moments. Ohhh, my heart flutters!

I love these delicate cut paper creations. They remind me of little butterflies fluttering through the air. Some of Virginie's creations can be found here, but I hope you speak French.
This is a tribute to all those little things that make our homes special and unique. I found this stylish place on Flickr. If you are a photography nut be sure to link over to Nam N's site. Not only is he an amazing photographer but he also collects the coolest objects! Gorgeous!
I'm in love with the mystery of ElleMoss's beautiful photos.I think I could stare at them for hours:)
Its impossible to resist stopping by Home Girls while in Austin. While there I picked up a little gift for myself (Yeah!)
Its an Alyson Fox drawing, its so delicate and pretty.
Now I need to find the perfect frame. I'm thinking bright white, maybe?
Growing up, a favorite family event was watching old Spanish movies. We spent countless hours sitting in our living room laughing, and crying to those amazing movies.
I guess because of that, I became a devout movie buff.
There aren't many things I enjoy than a good black and white film.
So you can imagine how much I love these amazing posters from the Keep Calm Gallery.
Judging from the comments on my last post about my true love for Nate Berkus, I am not the only one in love. By coincidence, I found this amazing painting from Fifi Flowers; of Nate's adorable pooches. So cute! Nate if you see this, I want to dedicate this little token to you; from me and many other bloggers.
Happy Sunday! I'm sitting quietly web-surfing while my boys take an afternoon nap. I stumbled upon a great artist today, named Betsy Walton. Just thought I would share some of her work. Some of these paintings can also be found at her Etsy store here.
This really is an Inspiration board. Every little detail is beautiful. It is from a blog and Flickr site called Scupltress Studio. I'm such a fan of these sites, that I added one of the photos as my "Image of the Week". This photo is also part of a Flickr group called Art in My Home. Check it out, it is very fun. While there, you might see one of my photos taken in Liam's room.
Before, my "Creative Displays" week ends; I thought I would add the work of Riitta Paivalainen. She uses second-hand clothing to make these surreal installations. Found via Brocante.
Happy Monday, everybody! I know its the middle of the day, so everyone is well into their Monday.Today's dream home may be familiar to many of you. It is the home of Victoria of SFgirlbybay. I chose it because, first: I love it so much and second: it fits into a theme for the rest of the week. Most of my posts this week will be about creative displays. I have been studying different methods of accessorizing in order to inspire my own displays at my furniture booth. Since I collected many interesting photos, I thought I would share them.

Victoria's bohemian home is filled with creative vignettes, in every corner! Art, books, found objects, all come together to make a truly inspiring abode. Again, I find myself drawn to a mostly white interior. It just seems so relaxing! I would love to take a nap on this cushy sofa.
I need to find a large scale chalkboard like this. I can imagine, both Liam and I would have lots of fun with it :) Victoria's home is also featured in Apartment Therapy's book, "Real Homes, Real People". Its a very cool book, that I have mentioned before; here.
